The lawn looks after itself
Greensward senses the ground, decides with care, and waters only when the grounds need it. Four steps, from the soil to the early-morning run.
In the ground
It begins below the surface. Soil moisture sensors sit at root depth across the grounds, reading the one thing a timer never knows: how much water the soil is actually holding, right now.
They report continuously over a private long-range radio network. No Wi-Fi to reach, no wires across the lawn. The grass itself becomes the instrument, and the readings never stop.
The decision
This is the heart of it. An AI agronomist studies the soil, the live island weather, recent treatments, and the season, and proposes a watering plan for the day.
Then a separate referee checks every proposed action against seven independent safety gates: frost, stale data, recent rainfall, time of day, and soil moisture among them. The referee is deterministic, not AI. The AI proposes; the referee disposes. If any single gate objects, nothing happens.
On your lawn
Watering runs in the early hours, when evaporation is lowest and the grounds are still. Each run is sized to what the soil needs that morning, and adjusted again the next day.

The installation
Sensors are set discreetly at root depth, a small gateway is sited out of view, and the system connects to your estate's existing irrigation controller.
It is days, not weeks. When it is finished, there is nothing new to see on the lawn. The grounds simply begin to look after themselves.
